Yesterday, the Senate confirmed the nominations of Hester Peirce, for her second term, and Caroline Crenshaw, for her first term, as SEC Commissioners.

Both were congratulated by their fellow Commissioners in this statement. Crenshaw has been at the SEC for seven years and, among other positions, was counsel to former Commissioners Kara Stein and Robert Jackson.  She will now fill Jackson’s seat.  She is a U.S. Army Reserve captain, Judge Advocate General’s Corps.
